Planning your production

Film production begins way before you ever press the record button on your camera. Planning is the first stage of successful film production, and with many years experience producing successful documentary films for broadcasters like National Geographic, we can apply that same expertise to your film, no matter how long or short. It can also be very useful to storyboard your filming so you have a clearly defined plan, capturing those images and making ideas come alive.

Video Editing with Crow Creative

Video editing is more than just editing images. It’s a creative process that we aim to share with you. Once we have done a rough edit, you can sit with us in the studio to finesse the final film.  Not only does it give you input and ownership of the final product – it is a far more efficient way of working and saving you money.

Music Production

We have access to massive libraries of royalty free music and the knowledge to discover and select the best music for your project. Music selection is essential to create the ideal mood and professional finish to your film. If you are looking for a more bespoke piece of music, we also have great relationships with a range of artists who can create bespoke compositions at extremely reasonable fees.

Sound Production

That extra layer of natural sound adds so much to a film, as does a well recorded and narrated voice over. We can record sound on location and in the studio no matter how small or large your production is.

How to Use Your Finished Film

One of our favourite clients is the events company who coordinated the Masked Ball, Halloween Ball, and the Porthleven Food Festival. Once a piece is finished for their website, we usually produce shorter pieces designed for various social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram. So one film can have a variety of uses across all media platforms. Our Previous Projects

Over the past 20 years trading as Shark Bay Films we have produced every type of film for a range of clients including 2 national tourist boards and an international airline. We have even filmed and produced 3 election campaigns for the President of an African nation.

Other projects have included music videos for an eighties pop star’s come-back tour, videos for National Trust and for numerous tourist attractions in Devon and Cornwall, and for surfing, boating and diving magazines. We are currently working on a series of videos for Falmouth University, with whom we have worked closely over the past year.
