Based in West Cornwall and with an intimate knowledge of the County we are ideally situated to provide all types of location support, from location scouting to film crews and a studio base from which you can operate. We also have boats available for those all important sea-based shots.

Location Services

From the rugged North Coast to the white sand beaches of the West; from the wild moors of Bodmin and West Penwith to the tiniest fishing coves and harbours; from quiet streams that become major rivers to remote mining ruins. There can be few Cornish film makers who know our county as well as we do.

We offer the experience and knowledge to support you in planning and executing your film project in Cornwall. Whether you are scouting locations for feature films, TV commercials and music videos, or producing events or photographic shoots, our Cornish location service provides clients with a unique and unrivalled level of expertise when filming across Cornwall.

The Poldark series has put Cornwall at the forefront of people’s minds, however, there is much more to Cornwall than a few easily recognisable landmarks. We know hidden ancient manor houses way off the beaten track; holy wells and standing stones and beautiful and wild locations where very few people go.

We also know the alternative and modern side of Cornwall extremely well, having produced county-wide series of films for a local magazine and for a television company. We can even offer you the use of our harbourside studio as a base and for safe storage of equipment. With 3 full 4k edit suites available, you can even review rushes and work on edits in the comfort of a Cornish village setting.

A further feature we offer is our comprehensive knowledge of the coast of Cornwall and its islands – from the sea! We have extensive marine experience through our sister company Shark Bay Films, and also have access to boats around the coast for you to use as filming platforms.

We can provide equipment for your shoot. There is no longer any need for you to run the risk of this expensive shoot far from your home base being ruined due to equipment malfunction. Check our equipment hire page for more information.

We have a vast library of footage from around Cornwall – and what we don’t have we will happily shoot to order. Conditions may not be favourable during your shoot for that drone flight or sunset you need – no worries, leave it with us to deliver when the conditions are optimal.

Local Film Crew

We can source local film crew for you – and we only work with the cream of Cornish cameramen and assistants. It is far more cost-effective to utilise local crew than bringing crew from “up country” who require pay for travel time, expenses, accommodation and subsistence costs Do you really want to bring drones and a pilot with you only to find conditions are not right for flying – when you can call on locally based CAA certified pilots and their equipment for when conditions are optimum?
