We have done many projects involving Business to Business – B2B filming in Cornwall. However we have just completed perhaps our most exciting and most challenging such project.
In a recent blog we have recounted our filming projects with Windracers. This has taken us from Cornwall to North Wales and the very north of Scotland, filming their self flying cargo aircraft. The project was all building to a major launch. The whole project was highly confidential, and we were subject to an NDA until the official launch.
Public launch of the project
Because this launch has now taken place, we are able to tell you about this exciting and revolutionary step forward in the use of self flying aircraft for a multitude of purposes.
Launching the aircraft and its many potential functions in a top London hotel on The Stand, and was in every way a major B2B event. Well over 100 business customers attended for the unveiling of the very latest in aerial technology. plus the press was present in force including international agencies such as Reuters.
Filming interviews in an aircraft hangar
Travelling from Cornwall, we first had to film an interview with Simon Thompson the Group CEO of Windracers. This interview took place in their hangar, with the aircraft in the background. Pressure was on, as we had to do an immediate edit of the whole interview to be screened at the launch the following day. And then into the car to get to London.

Rehearsals for the main event
Full rehearsals took place the following day. Absolutely essential for us so we could work on camera angles and lighting, and also understand the event we were to film. Plus it was incredible to see a fully functioning aircraft being wheeled into a London hotel! And finally, filming the actual launch.

It’s a wrap!
After all the excitement, time to bring the equipment home… Though still the edit to deliver within 48 hours. Another successful B2B – Business to Business – filming in Cornwall (and elsewhere) project.
