Bangkok – FIFA conference filming

Like last year in Kigali in Rwanda we had a few intense days rushing around the capital trying to capture the flavour and colour of the host city. We are a small team of director / shooter Eddie, myself as shooter and our editor Sam. The brief was for 60- 90 second edit into which we had to cram a whole capital city. So after a lot of research and help from a brilliant local fixer we made a hit list of temples, markets, Thai boxing gym, river ride and modern city attractions.

After 2 days Sam our editor started putting together a rough edit. That allowed us to focus our next next days shoot on missing shots and gave us a more targeted direction. You often wonder how you will ever get the job done. But we managed it in the end and we were all very happy with the result. It was also a great endorsement when FIFA Social Media team took the film and posted it on their Instagram, which never happens. So we were are very happy to hear that.
