Nationwide Video Marketing Campaign for Armed Forces Day 2023.
Cornwall Council has asked us to produce the videos for their nationwide video marketing campaign.
March marks the 100 day countdown to Armed Forces Day 2023. We’re getting people along to this exciting weekend event.
Armed Forces Day is a chance to support the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving troops to Veterans and all of their families.
⏱️ The countdown is on! 🙌🎆@BearGrylls features in the official trailer for @ArmedForcesDay 2023 – the national event held in Cornwall this summer.

On the day
Displays from the Red Arrows, parade marches, boats, planes and helicopters and so much more… So that families can interact with the Service Personnel and the equipment they use.
Our videos
Our promotional trailer needed delivering before the 100 day countdown commencement. We also interviewed with cadets from all three armed forces components. Army, Navy and Royal Air Force, to be released successively up until the day of the event. We also produced a video for the Veterans conference too.
We have created 10-15 videos to be released in the build up their nationwide marketing campaign.
Working again with Cornwall Council, the Crow Creative team captured exceptional footage. We travelled to RAF St Mawgan to film service personnel. Filmed the Lord Lieutenant of Cornwall’s cadet of choice. Also in Truro we recorded a 97 year old veteran. To Newquay to capture interviews with Veterans at a breakfast meeting. On the day of the launch, we also went to Pendennis Point, Falmouth, to film a Merlin Helicopter and record a speech to kick off the countdown.
A giant flag unfurled by military personnel to mark 100 days until the next Armed Forces Day. Personnel abseiled down the wall of Pendennis Castle as they unfurled the flag.
A helicopter also made a flypast before a ‘canon salute’ was fired by RAF Air Commodore Polly Perkins.
Going viral!
The trailer (featuring Bear Grylls) reached 175000 views in only 10 days. The nationwide video marketing campaign seems to be gathering momentum!
Look forward to seeing you there!
