We were events filming in Cornwall last week.

Historic Event

The Levelling Up Minister made her way down to Cornwall to sign a historic deal and we were there to document the moment.

Accordingly this historic £360 million Devolution Deal transfers building and skills powers to level up Cornwall.

Fionn busy at work

The Crow Creative team captured stills and video for Cornwall Council at Spaceport Cornwall amid final preparations for the first UK satellite launch by Virgin Orbit.

Both the Levelling Up Minister Dehenna Davison MP and the Leader of Cornwall Council Linda Taylor signing the Devolution Deal.

Devolution for Cornwall

The Devolution Deal after being signed sets the ball rolling for Cornwall. Because we gain a directly elected Mayor. And receive funds to improve Cornish infrastructure like housing, transport and education.

Interviewing Government Minister

We captured interviews with 9 Councillors and two Members of Parliament. And then delivered a film and still images within a few days for the Council to launch the campaign. A very tight deadline…

While working alongside national news networks and parliament press teams there was high security and systems in place. We even took our passports to enter what is now American soil! The day before, River travelled over do a recce and have a briefing to organise the day’s proceedings.

Crow Creative has done a lot of work in current affairs recently. Because we have done shoots at G7 with the press association, UN Climate Conference and River was up at the House of Lords for the launch of a new national film series.

Events filming in Cornwall like Falmouth week have become a staple of our calendar recently. From the Christian festival Creation Fest on Air to Filming the Oggymen at the Minack Theatre. We do it all…

We look forward to working with Cornwall Council again early next year for more large events that they host in Cornwall.
