Cornwall’s leading video production company!
After the past week I think we can definitely claim to be Cornwall’s leading video production company! What a week it was…
Documentary series
John and River were heading home from filming WW2 Japanese shipwrecks in the North Pacific Ocean. The documentary will be a pilot for a series of 6 films for distribution to worldwide television stations. The series is under the working title “Remains of War”.
Doing two and three dives every day, we filmed some amazing wartime shipwrecks. Cargo ships, tankers, crashed planes… And this little fellow had taken up residence on a wrecked barge that we were filming!
Filming Tim Peake
Meanwhile Fionn was filming Britain’s leading astronaut Tim Peake in the Science Museum, London. This is a film project for Spaceport Cornwall. We’re working closely with Design 79 on a series of films for schools. They will be based around the planned launch of satellites into space from Cornwall’s Newquay Airport.
Magazine series deadline
On arrival back in Heathrow John had a dash back to Cornwall. He had a deadline to deliver a series of three articles to a national magazine. These are based on our extended boat voyage to South West Ireland earlier in the summer. Here’s a taster of the supporting images.
House of Lords
Meanwhile River stayed back in London. He was guest at the launch of a series of films we have produced for a client. And the Launch was taking place in the House of Lords!
Drone filming in Cornwall
To finalise the week, Fionn had a day’s intensive drone filming in Cornwall for a London based production company.
Now that is quite a working week. I think that justifies the claim to being Cornwall’s leading video production company?
And in the coming week, Fionn and River have 2 days filming at The Eden Project scheduled, we have to deliver 3 videos to support our magazine series. Plus start work on the edit of the Remains of War series…
Looking like a busy winter!
