Cornwall drone filming? Then we are the people to talk to. Check our showreel… It’s worth expanding it to full screen!

Well, you have probably spotted that the shots are not just from Cornwall. Some are – and some are from our filming trips much further away. Some you may have seen before if you follow our blogs, others not.

Cornish Drone Footage

Drone shots from Cornwall include one of Rustler’s amazing hand built yachts in Falmouth Bay. Then there is the iconic Wolf Rock lighthouse. We’ve shown you drone footage of the Surfers Against Sewage Plastic Oceans challenge before on our Shark Bay Films blog.

We couldn’t miss the chance of filming the giant Boka Vanguard when she was anchored off Porthleven. And of course the Masked Ball – this was the last time it would be held on Porthleven’s cliffs… The final sequence we filmed in woodland near Bodmin.

Drone Filming from abroad

Other drone clips may be less recognisable. The opening shot is from our Shark Bay Films production Islands in a Desert Sea. And the grey whales and calf plus the sea lions come from the same film from the Sea of Cortez. The Norwegian Fjords also feature more than once from a series of films we produced for Motor Boats and Yachting Magazine. We also filmed the arrowhead formation of Princess yachts in mid Channel en route to France.

CAA Licensed Drone Pilot Cornwall

Fionn filmed all this footage. He is an incredibly excellent drone pilot. He has shot footage for several National Geographic documentaries. We were thrilled to have one of these films put forward for an EMMY. He brings those skills and expertise to filming for clients. He is keen for drone filming jobs in Cornwall and beyond.
