Iconic Cornish Filming Locations

Porthleven itself is a popular filming location. Many film companies choose it. The German company filming Rosamund Pilcher series come here every year. And we recently arranged shoots at several locations around the village for an American made-for-TV movie. We know every business owner so whether it’s a historic pub, harbourside restaurant, or artist’s gallery, we can scout and deliver the locations.

The village is also famous as a surfing destination, a fishing harbour, water sports centre – and one of the best locations for storm watching!

Beyond the iconic harbour our beach stretches for miles to the south. While heading west we have spectacular cliffs, smugglers caves, and iconic Cornish engine houses.

Whatever you are filming, we can also offer the support of our fully equipped harbourside studio. Plus we offer full filming equipment rental right here on the spot in Cornwall. We have recently provided kit for BBC, ITV, and international productions.
