Behind the scenes of Cornwall Video Production

Specialist Cornwall video producers

People only see the finished product that we deliver for clients – whether on You Tube, as promotional advertising, and even on the big screen such as at the Hall for Cornwall. But behind the scenes of Cornwall video production a lot  goes on. Pre-production  meetings to plan the shoot. Equipment preparation as each project has differing requirements. Many require specialist protective equipment whether just hi-vis or more. We sometimes work in the most demanding and speciaised environments . All of these are the reasons that we are known as the very best specialist Cornwall video producers.

Location based filming

Other work is studio based, and preparation for that can be complex and time consuming. Some filming spaces are huge – like an aircraft hangar in which we recently filmed an interview. We need to spend considerable time preparing lighting and accoustics.

Studio based filming

Equally complex can be preparing for more subtle indoors filming. Often a member of our crew will sit in on a dummy run before the main shoot to ensure conditions are just perfect.

Selection of equipment

Selection of the right equipment for the job is also essential – even for the apparently simplest of shoots. Fortunately we have a comprehensive catalogue of our own kit, and for very specialised shoots work with Chris Yacoubian and his Cornish Camera Company equipment hire facility, based close to our studio. Because Chris is a highly experienced industry professional and can provide the very latest specialised state of the art equipment.

Selection of the right equipment for the job

We are known to be specialist Cornwall video producers. So – unlike many video production companies – it’s never just a case of rocking up for a job without all the proper kit and preparation. For a company such as ours there’s a lot of thought, preparation, and expertise  behind the scenes of Cornwall video production.
